“Two Fingers Pointing On You”
by The Seeds
1967 song
A premier example of Sky Saxon’s acid-soaked sub-grammatical poetry, "Two Fingers Pointing On You" can be found on The Seeds’ seminal 1967 art-psych album Future. It’s a sinister sneer of a sentiment, doing much to give Future its addled vibe and reliably unreliable mood swings. "Two Fingers Pointing On You" was also used in the 1968 Jack Nicholson movie Psych-Out and appeared on that flick’s soundtrack LP. This song title appears in shortened form on the front cover of Future as “Two Fingers”.
