“Somebody’s Watching You”
by Sky Saxon and Arthur Lee
2001 song
Arthur Lee included a song called "Somebody's Watching You" on his 1992 album Arthur Lee And Love. He took full authorship credit even though the music was a direct rip-off of The Seeds’ classic "Can't Seem To Make You Mine". In 2001, a version of "Somebody's Watching You" was added to Sky Saxon’s homemade mail-order CD Golden Vaults Volume 1: Timeless featuring Sky and Arthur trading verses. It’s unknown when this was recorded or how, or whether Sky and Arthur truly colluded on the recording or if there was some studio trickery afoot. At any rate, Sky somehow shares writing credit with Arthur on the 2001 CD-r.
