“Natural Sunlight”
by King Arthur's Court
2005 song
"Natural Sunlight" opens the mystical A Spring Honeymoon With God & Family album by King Arthur’s Court with a mesmerizing beckoning into the forest primeval. The sounds of nature – birds and bees, trees and vines and thick wet air – mingle lazily with a repetitive bass-heavy groove. In the background, Djin Aquarian chants the name of the Source Family’s Father – “Ya Ho Wha” – as the listener is drawn into an ancient forest, the rest of society and the modern world vaporized in an instant. It’s a beautiful introduction to the vivid world of this album.
Despite the title of "Natural Sunlight", Sky Sunlight Saxon does not appear on this song, which was recorded in April 2005 on the slopes of Mt. Shasta in California. But the vibe here is so psychedelic, so permeated with a sense of the fecund wonders of nature, that fans of trippy music everywhere are urged to seek it out post haste. Set aside a nice long evening and sink into the wild quicksand, into the world of King Arthur’s Court.
